The Artist Mage ~ Will Spears

My idea for a greeting card company based on things of a magical nature is up and running and looking beautiful at magicatplay.com.  The framework has been designed and now I just need to concentrate on designing graphics and cards and developing a marketing approach.

Bringing order to the chaos of my life.  That's what it's all about.

Hokey Pokey!

My mom wanted a website, so I've been helping her put one up on the web for her jewelry designs.  http://ayannaspears.weebly.com.

OK, so I'm a little bit proud of my website today.  When you have as many things going on in your brain as I do, convincing a web page to coalesce into a cohesive and comprehensible construct representative of your nature can seem to be a virtually insurmountable task.  Did you notice the apt use of "virtually" since this is a virtual environment?  Oh, I love to play with words.

But it's 1 in the morning and I really should hit the hay before circles crop up on my eyes.

And speaking of crop circles, I don't know why, but as much as I believe in magic and things that are basically "out there," I just have the strongest feeling that there is nothing but human activity behind crop circles.  And I can't wait for the day when I can say, "I told you so."

I haven't been writing for a while since I've been very busy with other artistic pursuits:  painting, web design, re-ordering the underlying structure of the universe.

But last night I actually sat down and wrote out the synopsis and the first half of a treatment for a screenplay about vampires that has been rattling around in my head.  Today I'm going to spend a good deal of time working through some of the character development and finish the treatment so that I can then get into the undertaking of fleshing out screenplay.

Did I put "undertaking" and "fleshing out" in the same sentence?  Muguhuhuhu ha ha ha.
